Does Niantic care about account selling?

I started playing Pokemon Go when it first came out, but haven't played since a couple months after launch.

I am looking to purchase an account to play again. It would be my permanent account, no botting or cheating on it once I've bought it. So I want to be as safe as possible with it.

However, it seems like it would be quite easy for Niantic to detect when someone has purchased an account, what with the sudden switch in all sorts of things in the profile, plus new location, new device etc.

Do they have a history of banning accounts strictly for activity that looks like it was purchased?

No, as long as u play legit.

I got many LvL40 which sell to others and still active and no banned.
NN simply dont bother on profiling..
