Pokemon GO in 2k18?

Hey guys, is pokemon still a thing? Cuz right now is summer, and i remember events in pokemon where is a lot of people on in one place tried to catch them, was so fun to see this. This still happens?

still happens, i do believe all the snip scene is changed though. You can add friends to pokemon go now, if they are close u can trade pokemon with them if they are far away you can send them gifts which u get from poke stops.
