Should I worry about ban?
I just started a new account for botting and I am in Amsterdam trying everything out. If I open the account on my phone once i awhile wont I have a good chance of getting a soft ban? Is there a way around this?

Turn off your location on your phone, you can do anything with the pokemon etc, just can't use the eggs/lures/incense

Like Superman93 said, as long as you turn off your location from inside of your phone settings, you're free to check the app on your phone wherever and as often as you'd like. Just make sure that your location is turned off if you're worrying about being softbanned.

You could also make sure the bot is in your immediate area. If it is running around in circles close to where you would otherwise be there should be no problem related to logging on to your phone with the account as long as you shut down the bot first. Concerns for me would be;
- Can Niantic see if the same device has been used to login a botted and normal account - would they take action on the normal account too? (f.ex. Blizzard does this)
- What is the purpose of logging in to the botted account on your phone? Would Nox be enough on your PC?
