A small update was released today for Pokemon Go. It appear as though you can still log into and play with the 0.29.0 release, but it has been reported that the new version improves performance in some situations, allows a wider selection of Pokemon to spawn in the wild along with other miscellaneous quality of life changes.
I've personally seen three new Pokemon that I hadn't previously seen in the last 10 minutes since upgrading, so there's certainly some merit to these claims.
After testing, it also appears that GPS spoofing still works perfectly fine on both Bluestacks and on Android Phones, so there's no reason not to upgrade!
For those of you playing on Bluestacks (or another emulator), you can grab the APK right here.
For the rest of you, you can upgrade through the app store as usual.
