    Hi all,

    To everyone who is panicking right now because of a banned account!!!!!

    I might have some good news for you. Maybe you are thinking that your account is banned, because you get login errors like the ones described in the title.

    If that's the case, do not worry. According to Niantic the reason for the login issues might be the pokemon go servers which are having errors.




    You may receive the “failed to log in” or “unable to authenticate” error message if our servers are experiencing a temporary issue.

    If the issue persists, you may close and reopen the Pokémon GO app:



    • Android: Touch Settings > Apps > Pokémon GO > Force Stop
    • iOS: Double-click the Home button to see your most recently used apps, find the Pokémon GO app, and then swipe up to close the app. )*

    There's a new banwave, that's all
    NEVER had any bans, now i already have 6 banned accounts and i always stopped botting when new API was out untill bot devs updated to new API :/
    Ah well that's the risk with botting. there banned cause the where already flagged, so thez ban would come anyway at some point

    I'm using my main account since the game came out, only on my phone with pogo++ and still no ban. Not sure if thats detectable though.

    I also got 5 bot accounts which and 3 of them are relatively new (about 3 to 4 weeks. Those accounts were only used with bots updated to the latest API and are being used for more than 8 hours every day. Luckily no ban on all three accounts.

    The other 2 bot accounts were banned within 4 weeks while i was using a bot on a older API. I think it was still on 0.47 while the game was on 0.51.

    For the ones interested, for the "safe" accounts, I'm using 1 account with PGBot with a 1 tab plan and 2 other accounts with DPS (i bought a 150rpm hash key for that).

    I know that every bot has got it's risk's and can possibly lead to a permanent ban, so no guarantee that these bots will be 100% safe, but for now they are working good for me.

    @pogotrainee : Is the ban wave confirmed and you know where i can find that info?
