NECROBOT - v8.5 Forces online snipe/cannot snipe own lat/long in config!!!???
I have found after updating Necrobot it no longer used the lat/long co-ordinates specified in my config file, instead sniping various locations from Pokezz, Skipplagged and Pokesnipers. This was very annoying as 95% of the time no pokemon were found (likely as the online co-ords are dated). Regardless having changed the config file, though I can stop sniping online server co-ords it seems I cannot now get the bot to use the long/lats specified in my config any longer.
I then tested with an old version (0.8.1) and config and it works ok. Can anyone please confirm or offer advice on what config option with 0.8.5 I may be missing?

Many thanks
feel free to change it yourself mate.
just go to your config.json
change all stuff with "snip" from true to false.
after you are fine.
Thanks for the reply, but tried that already, as i knew that was the case before.
I changed the use location server and specific sites in the config (skipplagged, pokezz, pokesnipers, etc) to "false" but then all it does it rotate around the pokestops. However my config for 0.8.1 still uses config long/lat locations and gets a stable 130k without egg. Now at Lv 40 so using that to build candies to 2k each as well as build stardust.
Any idea on how to get the latest update to use the config co-ords again would be appreciated.
The same happens here . Do not make updates without testing them pls . Skiplagged etc. can not find pokemon ! The bot idles all the time ! I want the old version

Tbh they seem to accept every single pull request in the github. So many features get added its insane, and they aren't even needed most of the time.
Everyone just adds what he/she needs for themselves.
Ok , but now what do I do to make it work ? all the time to read ( SNIPER ) ( Skipagged.com ) Scanning for snipeable pokemon at xxx.xxx and never finds anything. I tried to use the old version and it closes by saying that I have to put google account even though I only PTC .

Sorry to hear you have the same issue, however if you go to the Necrobot release site at https://github.com/NECROBOTIO/NecroBot/releases, yu'll be able to download 0.8.1, which still works great for me. If you need a decent config file for about 125k XP and 475 Pokemon per hour attached is mine. It literally catches everything across a large number of co-ords in the config. I use it now im lv40 on two accounts to farm stardust and candies across the board until i each about 2000 per Pokemon and levelled my 100IV's. Main details for it are below:
- 125k XP/475 Pokemon per hour
- Catch all Pokemon.
- Does not transfer Dragonites, Mewtwo, Mew, Ditto, Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos (If you'd ever be lucky enough to find them if introduced!)
- Keeps anything above 2200CP or 89IV for you to manually decde to keep/transfer.
- Has all Pokemon listed under "to capture" - Useful to gradually move to ignore list once you have enough candies for specific Pokemon (So to focus with what balls you have on other Pokemon before new hunting cycle.)
- Keeps 2 of each Pokemon minimum.
- Does not use imho unreliable online servers that reduce XP or Pokemon rate.
I've compressed it as a .rar (winrar/winzip can open) as the forums do not allow upload for some reason of the config .json extension.
Again though any resolution/thoughts or advice on the new update issue would be welcome from all.
Cheers.
