For Bluestacks users, do not use the latest release as it is very unstable and will eventually stop working. Instead use a pre-rooted modded version of Bluestacks, you can Google it and find it.

Does anyone know how to fix the black screen on Bluestacks for macs? There is no regedit on mac so I am unable to change the camera from 1 to 0.

I'm having a very similar issue.

It seems like bluestacks somehow knows the city I'm in, and feeds this location to the GPS.

Hence every now and then I'll be detected in my town. This means if I do GPS spoofing outside my city, I get soft banned almost immediately. GPS spoofing within the city is fine though.

Interestingly if I press the "Locate me" icon in fakeGPS (top right, third icon) it will show me in central downtown of my city, even if I'm not there right now. Also if I start fakeGPS, start Pokemon Go then turn off fakeGPS, I'll end up in the same spot in Pokemon Go.

Hence my true city is actually known to the GPS, but apparently no more than that.

Any clue on how to stop this from happening?

Having this same issue, tried the suggested fixes: location settings were already turned off in windows 10 and set it to device only and switched off google history in bluestacks but it still jumps back to a set location in my home city. Anyone managed to find a solution?

running on mac with win7 vmware. bluestacks seem to lag alot when running on viritual machine. has anyone got this working on a mac? only thing I cant seem to figure out is how to disable the camera? is it even necessary?
