Pokeball Trick Throw

When you find a Pokemon and are in the catching mode, instead of flicking you finger to toss the ball towards the Pokemon, move your finger in small circles on your screen when touching the ball. that will make the ball rapidly spin and when you feel comfortable, throw the ball towards the Pokemon. that will send a curve ball towards the Pokemon and will increase your chance of catching it. This throw takes a bit of practice to get down, so be ready to miss a few times.

If you do, do this throw, you will get a curve ball bonus!

Curve ball bonus is broken, you get curve ball bonus when not throwing a curve ball and you get no bonus for throwing a curve ball.
