Today I got messaged on Discord by a Guy called "HALAL WARRIOR". He contacted me because of me looking for Gold or Credits on Tauri/Evermoon. We discussed for some time and we agreed to talk again in the evening which we did. We agreed on a price of 50€ in 2 payments. After the first payment he blocked me and deleted all his messaged. I saw that he got a mutual friend on discord called nerdbooster. I asked him if he ever talked to him and if he could help me out. Through unique discord ID "593086833282252820" we found out that he changed his name to "fist enjoyer" nerdbooster talked to him and the guy linked him his thread https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/mmo...ml#post4314904 (WTB Warmane Icecrown DK BiS PvP/PvE, with SM only buying with original email.).

Hello, as previously mentioned via DMs - I have never come in contact with you. If somebody is pretending to be me, DM me via Ownedcore before making a trade. I have also never posted my Discord publicly on ownedcore, only skype. I am unsure how I will be able to assist you in this.

What I can say is the fact with impersonator doesnt make sense as he never stated to me that he got ownedcore he just messaged me on dc. I just found out through nerdbooster where he posted his own thread to buy chars on warmane. Where would be the sense to impersonate someone who wants to buy on warmane to sell to someone on a completly different expansion? Discussing this here wont help we can just wait for someone to investigate. Im not mad about loosing 25€ its just a shame that people still need to scam in this community

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do in this situation as we can't even verify his Discord. It could very well be an impostor; there is not enough evidence.
