I believe this to be a scam and I want to put something out as a warning to others, if I am wrong please correct me so I can speak with the user again and try to resolve this.

    Accused Information

    Dispute Date: Nov 18, 2019
    Ownedcore Profile Link/User Name: None
Instant Messenger username of Accused: Discord: Di.Lesnar#1222
Payment Method Information: [email protected] paypal

    Dispute Information

No dispute as I didn't fall for it, just a warning to others.

    Proof

As I haven't seen much of this method used before I will describe the scam first: The scammer will say he wants to buy gold, he will then agree to paypal transfer with friends and family since he doesn't have an account or anything. He will say he sent a payment. As it doesn't show up for you, you wonder what is going on and he asks you if you are new or similar (to get you flustered), he links the paypal page Log in to your PayPal account which shows invoices, since you are stressed (he's trying to make you go quick which is part of his plan to get you to miss details). It says there is a invoice that is paid, in reality (from what I understood) he created a invoice that you are supposed to pay but marked it paid (I assume).
    It looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/T1aAaA6.png
I started asking other traders and told him to wait a second, he got angry and started saying I scammed him and that he was going to contact blizzard and paypal and such and he wouldn't deal with a forum like some 15 year old (I suggested he made a post on epicnpc where he said he found me).

The whole conversation is pretty long so I will post relevant parts of it here (can supply all of it in pm or something on mod request):

Another user posted about this same guy recently, info in this thread: https://www.ownedcore.com/forums/mmo...ards-bank.html (⭐⭐⭐ FAIRBANKS HORDE US ⭐⭐⭐ 3k+ in stock . Accepting crypto/wmz/pp/cards/bank)

If I am wrong about what happened here please someone tell me so I can figure out how to pay this guy back the money he sent me, but I talked to some other scammers who said he acted similarly towards them and to not listen.
