New WoW Expansion Name Leaked: Dragonflight

So normally expansion leaks are taboo but this one has some bones to it therefore let's dive in. The new expansion name was posted on MMO-Champion recently with the label of Dragonflight. It was found on Blizzard's own website and purchased on a separate domain as well. The chances of the name not being Dragonflight is slim to none. The artwork leak below and details from a former leak of the same name are not confirmed nor can they be but the speculation with an almost 100% confirmed name makes it fun to analyze nonetheless.



So let's dive into what Dragonflight could possibly be all about based on a leak back in February that titled the expansion with the same name. Coincidence? Maybe not.

• Main enemy is Chromatus

- This was a dragon made by Nefarian and was supposed to have the power of all 5 dragon aspects.
- The last thing we know about Chromatus is that he was locked in an arcane prison in.....Northrend. Considering what just happened in Northrend with all its connections to Shadowlands and the Jailer it would make sense that somehow all that broke this prison. Also would be a great starting point after where Shadowlands ended.

• New Dragon Isles Zone.

- Sits somewhere between Broken Isles and Northrend with disconnected zones
- Old zone revamps including Lordaeron turning into Scarlet/Light focus, Silvermoon becoming a hostile city like Suramar, and Undermine which is a city-zone beneath Kezan filled with criminals.

• New 1 Spec Classes

- These can either be new classes with 1 spec or additional specs to other classes
- Dragon Knight: Tank spec with a two-handed weapon in plate armor. Could be a Warrior addition
- Tinker: Mail armor gadget gun user with a mech suit. Could arguably be a hunter addition
- Minstrel: Healer in leather armor that uses instruments. No idea what class if any this could be since its basically a bard
- Chronomancer: Cloth healer that uses time and sand magic. Mage for sure if anything.

On top of these are class skins coming including:

- Dark Ranger for Hunters . Dark spell effects and tame undead
- Necromancer for Warlocks. Plagues instead of curses. Summon undead instead of Demons
- Nightmare for Druids. Corrupted spell effects and animal forms. Snakes and Spiders
- Dragonsworn for Shaman. Draconic spell effects
- Warden for Demon Hunter. Arcane and holy magic instead of fel

• Continued Order Hall Stories

- These would work like new covenants. Listed are: The Silver Hand, Uncrowned, Kirin Tor, Valarjar, and Black Harvest.

I think the domain leak means this is real. They could just be throwing people off but nothing about modern Blizzard suggests they are capable of that type of
complex thinking.
There is a very real possibility that someone obtain the name of the title before launch, and register the url, and charge them a fortune for it.
Whether all the other details are correct who knows? They sound pretty good actually...though getting rid of leveling may not be a good idea since currently it is one
of a few wow-related things you can make a wow video about which still gets views.
