The team behind Eldorado started trading almost 10 years ago. Since then we have bought and sold billions in in-game gold and millions of items in RuneScape, Path of Exile, World of Warcraft, Rocket League, CS:GO, and more. As buyers, sellers and gamers, we have seen it all, from honest-to-goodness dealers to scam victims with zero customer support. Harnessing years of experience and love for the market, and with a strong belief that together we can revolutionise in-game trading, we set out to build what Eldorado is today — a secure, easy-to-use marketplace with sterling support that empowers both sides of the trading community.

    Ninja to Mixer

On August 1st Ninja, one of Twitch's biggest streamers, announced in a video that he would be streaming exclusively on Mixer. This was news that went completely viral because nobody ever thought it would be worth leaving Twitch. We all know Twitch is the go to site for streaming right now especially gaming. It has a whopping 72% of all streams gaming and non gaming on the internet in the U.S. Mixer has 3%. So why switch? Why take a risk when you have tens of thousands of subscribers, millions of followers, and a solidified channel that changed Twitch forever back when he duo'd with Drake in Fortnite? Maybe because it isn't a risk at all. Mixer is owned in large by Microsoft and Microsoft has a lot of money. Numbers have been thrown around on how much they must have paid Ninja to leave his current platform including the most common $50 million in a multi-year deal. Honestly these numbers wouldn't surprise me and here is why:

    • Ninja has stated in streams before he doesn't enjoy them as much and kinda hinted that once this run was over he wouldn't ever stream full time again. A fat paycheck could speed up that process

    • Mixer is Microsoft and companies of that size pay this type of money in marketing weekly if not daily. I remember reading that for Spotify ads some companies were paying like $20 million dollars just for those 30 second commercials.

    • This wouldn't be the first time Ninja has talked about leaving Twitch for a large sum of money. In this clip Ninja and other pros in the Fortnite community talk about what it would take money wise to leave Twitch. So this is clearly a thing big streamers are not only open to but actively thinking about, specifically Ninja.

    • Ninja was already confirmed making close to $10 million a year. If your making that much already and are comfortable than why switch unless some big money was put on the table?

    • Microsoft is trying to push more than just Mixer. They want to incorporate streaming into their next gen console. It's also a platform xCloud which Microsoft needs as many entry points as possible to compete with Youtube Plus, Stadia, and Twitch. Now Microsoft has Mixer and xCloud.

So what's next? Well Ninja has already started streaming and was getting around 50k viewers which is about what he got on Twitch. Also if you make a Mixer account this month you get a free subscription to Ninja on Mixer for 1 month. Ninja confirmed he already has 400k of these subscriptions on Twitter. But will Ninja be the only one? Like we mentioned before in that clip there are multiple people actively thinking things like this. Build their community on Twitch but sellout to an up and coming competitor. There is no better time than now to do it. With Ninja's clear success I can only wonder what other big names or possibly big GAMES will be exclusively moving over to other platforms. That is right, if you think this will be a individual only thing you are mistaken. Game companies will probably be taking deals like this too. It's happened in the past with some eSport companies and Facebook streaming. ESL was streaming exclusively on Facebook for awhile there because Facebook offered them a fat check. We are in the midst of a gigantic streaming platform war and the next 2-3 years are going to be very very interesting.

    8.2.5

Blizzard announced the development notes for 8.2.5 and since then a ton of data-mining has also occurred and there is a lot to cover.

Here's what is coming in 8.2.5:

    • Goblin and Worgen model updates.

    - This was talked about at Blizzcon during BFA's announcement and we are finally getting them. Here are some pictures. The female goblin is obviously right above.

Overall they look really nice and I think most people will be very pleased with them in game.

    • Party-Sync

    - This is a new mode that makes it easier to quest together in a party. When enabling Party-Sync everybody in the party becomes aligned in the same quest state and phase. This also includes a replay quest feature allowing players who have already complteed certain quests to replay them with friends. This goes for low level quests like Westfall as well. Meaning you can be 120 and do quests with your friend who is 15 in Westfall and get rewards that are for a 120. Lastly they are relaxing level restrictions on instanced content queues as well. This will allow players to play with friends of all levels as well and scale them down just like Timewalking except unlike Timewalking you will not just scale down your numbers but also lose abilities as if you were that level. This instance scale down is a note taken out of Final Fantasy's book.

    • Recruit a Friend

    - Not only is this amazing feature coming back but it is stronger than ever. If you have active game time you can recruit friends both new and returning players! Using a URL generated just for you, you can give to people kind of like a referral code if they want to re-sub. By connecting each other you gain rewards for the recruits you have. These include game time, pets, mounts, and more. And now with Party-Sync you can instantly play with those friends at any level.

    • 15 Years of WoW

    - It feels like the 10 year anniversary was yesterday. In November the 15th anniversary event will be going on. Logging in will grant you a Lil' Nefarian pet and other goodies. The event will include 3 unique raids from past expansions and an old-school Alterac Valley BG. If you defeat the 9 bosses in the raids you get Obsidian Worldbreaker mount which is basically Deathwing. The Alterac Valley participation also rewards you with a Wolf mount for horde and another Ram mount for Alliance. I wonder what the 3 raids will be HMMM. My guess is Naxx

    • You will be able to login to World of Warcraft via your phone instead of your e-mail address

This is all the big news except a new Bee mount which i'll post a picture of below. Keep in mind it is Alliance only but if you do it on Alliance you can ride it as a Horde from the mount journal.
