Recent weeks, changes and rechanges

Hey all, I am writing this on behalf of all the staff,

Turbulent times… the reasons and how we have solved them.

Moderators
The last couple of days have been quite turbulent as some of you may have noticed. New moderators were assigned only to be removed from the position some time later and to be reinstated now again.
This has happened due to several reasons that I can’t comment any further on, however what I can say is that we, the staff, take the blame for it 100% we have been jumping into conclusions and decisions without thinking carefully enough. We hope that you can and wish to forgive us.

That being said, we are happy to inform you that we have once again found the correct and suitable people for the job of moderating the forums:

• Matt Admin
• Amrican93 Super Moderator
• KuRIoS Super moderator
• Idusy Moderator
• Alkhara Moderator

These are the guys that you shall go to if you think that there is something on MMOWNED that needs to be improved or simply just changed. You are welcome to contact us as well if u just wishes to chat.

Rumours
Another thing that we have seen in the past weeks is that people have been speculating in thoughts that MMOWNED was designating and going to die. I can say that this is not going to happen and I honestly can’t see where people have been getting this idea from.

Some say that it’s because Matt hasn’t been as active now as he has been before, however there are reasons for this, Matt has recently started going to college and therefore a lot of time needs to be put into schoolwork and stuff.

That being said, it’s not entirely true that Matt hasn’t been active, me (KuRIoS) and Matt have been talking about thoughts on how we could improve the site. Therefore Matt started coding up the new projects however in the end we decided that it wasn’t the way we wanted the site to be.

So basically, what I am saying is that MMOWNED is still growing strong and we are still the best online site for World of Warcraft hacks and exploits. Something that we can thank YOU for, you users is what makes MMOWNED unique, that can’t be said enough.
If you doubt this then you shall only think a little time back to when the members of MMOWNED were the first to publicly find out how to get to GM ISLAND and how to change the DBC files.

Glad to see that.

You get an horrible feeling when you notice that someone in the moderating team doesn't know much (not to say nothing, and call him imposter). Mods should be chosen for their skills, knowledge, and maturity, which imo hasn't always been the case 'till today

Mods should be examples for other members, that means being active, sharing valuable content, answer and help members when they ask to, share experience and POV, slake the stress when a flame war is about to happen, etc.

And thank you for getting rid of those that are only searching some kind of fame, that they should never get by trying to feel special on those boards. That's one of the inconvenient of the Rep. system.
