The Graphics are very stylized and quite "quirky". In my opinion I like the graphics. The sound and game play mesh together with it to make a unique and visually stunning game.
At first when I had just installed the game, I started it up, and I wasn't that amazed. After a few games I decided I should turn up the graphics. Once I did as much as my monitor could take. I started the game up again. Wow was there a difference.
So I suggest that you turn your resolution up before you start playing, to have the best experience.
The audio matches its graphics, in its stylized way. Its very World War 1 like. Its also Very Satire-like. The tanks when fired make a fake sound, almost if you were playing with a toy.
All of the guns make very satisfying noises when fired.
There are two factions that you are able to play as.
Royal Army - Dashing, Dapper and ready to fight for the Yellow and Blue.
National Army - Suave, Stylish and ready to fight for the Red and Black.
I play National Army. In my eyes they are Ze Germans! While Royal Army is USA (Or Britain from what Greed says).
There are three classes which you can play, both on either faction.
Gunner: Takes a Beating and keeps on Ticking. Gunners have the most health, and carry a machine gun, shotgun, and an ability that ups their defense for a short amount of time. The machine gun is used for mid-range, and the shotgun is used for close range.
Soldier: Takes control of the battle to help his compatriots reach their goals. Soldiers are the in between class. They have a sub-machine gun, and a shotgun, similar to the gunner. Their special ability is to heal themselves. If they heal their team-members near them, it will heal more for everyone.
Commando: Sneaks up on his prey to unload decisive attacks. Commandos are a very sneaky class. Their two weapons are a knife, and a sniper rifle. Their special ability is to be able to stealth. Shooting or stabbing someone with their knife will break stealth. The closer you get to someone, the easier it is for them to see you.
Every other level you gain you get a hero point. Heroes points give you special abilities such as for a soldier you can activate burning bullets, which when shot at the opposite faction, will hurt them for a period of time. Another ability is to apply a poison to your knife as a Commando.
You gain VP from killing the other faction, and to win in battles. You can use these Points to buy different guns, clothing, and widgets, such as bandages, and Emotes.
After you get the basics down the game is rather simple.
All in all I think this is a great game. There are a few tweaks that could be done, but its still in the Beta phase of the game. While playing I feel as if I am not sitting in front of a computer, but in front of a little boys play set. The graphics are new in its style but not new in the way that they are cartoon-like. I hope that this review attracts some of you to this game, and changes the minds of others who didn't like it.
