Return of animated avatars (few options)

I've been around a while now and I can remember it was possible to have .gifs as an forum avatar but I can't remember why animated avatars were stopped.

Anyway, isnt it time they were brought back? Even if you had to use corecoins to use one or only certain ranks could use them?

Perhaps a community poll for yay or nay?

Anyway, would be cool.

Is this what you mean by animated avatar? IIRC the only time they aren't animated is when you are browsing the forum, but they should show up in posts

yeah, basically, you can't upload gifs as an 'avatar' - it says something about permissions.
