Lord of the Rings Online section?

In my opinion, it would be one of the best additions for this site. I've left WoW a long time ago, and therefore, I have no knowladge to write any guides about it. I've been with LOTRO for 2 years now, and plan to write a leveling guide when I go through it on my next character...I wish to have a place to put it. Also, there really aren't any competant LOTRO guides out there, so a LOTRO dedicated section here could help its new players out with guides written by experienced players. For example, there is always a problem with new players and affording their mount at level 35. Or affording a normal/deluxe/kin house. If there was a LOTRO section, players could find gold guides there. I'd also like to add that it has a very strong community (not as strong as WoW, but stronger then Aion, AoC, Warhammer, etc). To sum things up, I think it'd go a long way to make a section for Lord of the Rings Online. I know you may not add it, but please take my suggestion into consideration.

I second this, lotro is one of my favorite games of all time and is simply amazing. If you don't know what it is I have a review in game review section.

It is not a dying game. One could argue that other games listed here are dying (Aion for example). On my server Arkenstone (which is a medium population server, and way less people then Branywine) there is a constant flux of new players. There are people at the cap who have unsubed waiting for the next expansion, but that happens in every game. LOTRO seems to be awaiting a huge expansion if the actions of the devs mean anything...the game is not dying. People said the exact same thing once they hit the cap in Angmar, and Moria...this happens each time. The game is far from dying.

This is not true, I too wish for a lotro section. This game is popular and has some of the best pve content to date along with great graphics.

Normally, I'd just say "Use Others Section", but given this game actually has people playing it (unlike, say, AoC or Aion), I'm kinda for this suggestion. It's not something that's died in the first month, instead it's still got a reasonable number of players and a decent amount of activity.

Indeed. I'd compare it to Eve Online, that is to say, actually has people that play it. I'm not sure why games with no activity have sections.

I think they should just rename the AoC section to LOTRO.. because AoC is a failure and im surprised its even online anymore

Now that would be a good plan, if not for the SEO problem of renaming sections
