Private server list

Just slinging an idea out there, but I think it would be a good idea to make a private server voter list like World of Warcraft top 100 - Private servers, Guides, Guilds, free servers

The Pros: It will bring a lot of people to MMOwned and if it is successful it will rack in donations (which never hurt). There are probably others but I can't think of em at this time.

The con: This is a biggie, but it would probably takes TONs of time to make and then someone would have to maintain it.

Yeah if mmowned had their own system it would be good, could get extra monies by a preimum meber ship as well as the current ad system we got

Would be nice. I'll put forward a suggestion- not just any server gets on the list, I don't know what exact criteria you could use, but if there was a list of honest-to-god decent servers I might actually have a reason to play again.

Perhaps something simple, eg. a server has to be voted on to be put on the list.

I agree completely, it has to be unique so that it stands above the rest, and this is one way on how to accomplish that.

This would be good if it uses a different system than all the other ones so instead of votes you like use stars or something so the big ones just don't stay big with all the votes and thus get more players and thus get more votes ect.

Sounds like a great idea. ^.^
But if there is a bunch of fail servers on it then that's not good.
