My old ownedcore account was banned?

When this first took place, I didn't really care, but I was thinking about it today and I was wondering what happened. I used to be an active ownedcore user back when I was doing model edits for World of Warcraft (at least 3 years have gone by since I have stopped playing wow).

I tried logging into my old account and I got this error right after logging into the account:

You have been banned for the following reason:
Account compromised/hacked

Date the ban will be lifted: Never


Can a moderator or admin please explain why this happened and why the ban will never be lifted? I mean, I can change my password if that's the case. X_x

I understand this, and I am confident that I've done nothing wrong.

The account was synthblade. Same as this one only without the "87" at the end.
