If you hit a fresh 110 , If you are rich you can buy obeliterium and get gear making most of your gear 850 and head straight into mythic dungeons .If not , you can always go through world quests and normal dungeons to help you . Maybe if your guild is nice enough they can help you gear up fast . Once you are eligible for heroics , you can queue up for it and so on for mythics and mythics + .
Then you go for raids blah blah ..

Hello there, IMO the best way to gear up in legion is by spamming random dungeons and all available raids, focus a lot on the main purple WQ especially the ones with elite bosses that can drop insanely good gear ( got myself a 870 warforged cape yesterday), or as another fun method you can spam 2v2 or 3v3 rated arenas (season just started), hope this will help, good luck all !!

Open up the worldquests and just farm them to unlock rep-based class hall gear and your good to go :>

And get some gather professions. Like mining and herbalism and just farm to get some gold so you could buy the BOE epics on the AH.

To add onto the other posts...
You seem to have enough gold, so purchasing a few of the 815 crafted pieces will help boost your itemlevel when you're a fresh 110, to the point where you can start doing heroic dungeons. Get a full set of HC gear (or at least around 825-830 ilvl), then host a mythic dungeon group for whichever instance. Most likely some high geared people will show up, and at the end of the dungeon you will get a Mythic Keystone at level 2, and possibly some 840 gear. Once you have the keystone, host another group for the mythic keystone obtained. A LOT of VERY high geared people will sign up for your group, invite those only above 860-870 to ensure a smooth run with 3 chests that can contain VERY good gear, as well as legendaries.

For new chars:Buy a few items from the AH to get to ilvl 810 and then just do wq and hc's.You will get a high ilvl in no time.

Like some already said above, get some cheap crafted items, buy or make obliterum and upgrade. After that run mythics. Also if youre lucky you can get high level items from lfr if they "proc"
