Heroes of Newerth - How can i play?

Well my name is fahey if you dont yet know me. I heard alot of this HON crap and i was goin around to see what it is. To my shock it is based off of the game DoTa! I remember about 3 years ago playing WC3 when i played DoTA like 24/7. I would love to play this game for sure. Can anyone fill me in how i start playing? What do i have to download and how do i get a key etc.?

They sometimes give keys out to people who become a fan on facebook, and you can also get an invite from a current beta member.

The email you get with your key has a link to the beta login site, which has the client to download (About 200mb)
