Help w/icon!

I have this really f'ing annoying icon flashing in the bottom of my screen (came with a virus my brother installed ) that says my system has "Critical Errors" forunatly I have a bunch of antivirus stuff that killed the virus completely... exept for this annoying icon. Anyone know how to get rid of it? where are the system tray files stored? (incase im being unclear... it's the bar next to the clock in the bottom right corner of the screen)

Try AVG Anti-Virus and their spyware scanner (free.grisoft.com). Those are great programs, as well as the antivirus program Ad-Aware off of lavasoft.com. As far as I recall they all are free to use.
