The ways of the Hacker...

Hello everyone! I was always wondering what the word 'hacker' meant, so i looked it up and was suprised. I now have a totally different mind set about hackers. Heres the definitions of some words you guys should know, if you don't already:

hacker: Someone who builds and solves problems by using code to break the normal limits.

cracker: Someone who destroys and takes over software and hardware perhaps.

(BTW, I dont think Blizzard knows the difference.)

Anyway, I recently got into programming VB and i really want to help the mmowned community out, but alas, you guys are way more advanced than me in all sorts of languages, so im wondering if someone on this site could teach me their knowledge of VB and teach me how the hacks work from line 1 to what ever. i am really interested and I have a ton of ideas for hacks i haven't seen on this site before.

also "hackers" were college students back in the day when internet was introduced, they were known to play pranks on other people

Hmmm, i might have a dab at VB maself.

is VB supposed to be 2.8gb in size? o_0 o seem to remember it being less than a gig

VB is visual basic and it is, if you count the folder, 500kb rounded of course.

Nice! except i want to know how to make a hack also. I've searched google and it all comes up with, "Buy this!" "Download these hacks!". man i never knew just searching for help on code could be so hard. >_<

think you gotta learn some programming and if ur realy into it then go buy some programming books if not just read some tuts on the net

i cant find any tuts on the internet all i need to know is how to change memory values is that to much to ask?
