I enjoy shooters, adventure games, and occasionally sports games...
I like the appeal of actually moving my body to control my player a la Wii...I figure any way I have to stay in shape helps...
Xbox has been out for a year, and has a few solid titles I really think make the console.
Xbox has better graphics in general.
Wii has Zelda.
Wii promises some Nintendo classics. I like Nintendo classics.
Xbox has Halo 3...I like Halo 3.
Xbox is...as a whole...a LOT more expensive...
Wii is cheaper.
Xbox had better games overall (imo) last console than Gamecube...not sure if this will be the case, I'm wary to trust Nintendo again as a platform leader.
I tend to enjoy more adult-oriented games than I used to, and don't get the exstatic pleasure I used to playing Mario or Donkey Kong...I'm worried Wii will be more of the same...it's certainly small like the Gamecube and seems to be aiming at younger audiences again. But I LOVE the controller concept, it might make the games a whole new experience.
Xbox seems more trustworthy as a game producer, and I buy consoles to play games. This being a philosophical truth (i.e. Xbox makes good games. I buy consoles to play games, therefore I would be making a good decision for myself to buy an Xbox) I'm very much persuaded to fork over more and get the Xbox 360.
It would be great to know how much of a lifechanger the Wii controller is for gameplay...or on the other end, how incredibly worthwhile the Xbox 360 is.
Games I would buy the Xbox 360 to play:
Gears of War
Halo 3
Call of Duty 3
Lost Planet
Crackdown
Games I would buy the Wii to play:
Zelda
Mario
Sonic
Super Smash Brothers
I'm really leaning toward Xbox 360 because of the title lineup. As you can see my preferred games are more plentiful for Xbox 360. Thanks for your time and input everyone!
