    How to suspend a process in Windows 7

    How to access Performance Monitor (where you can suspend the process):
    1. Use CTRL-SHIFT-ESC or CTRL-ALT-DELETE or another method to open Windows Task Manager.
    2. Click the Performance tab.
    3. In the lower part of the Task Manager, click the Resource Monitor button.


    1. Click the Start Menu
    2. Click All Programs
    3. Click Accessories
    4. Click Run
    5. type perfmon.exe /run and press ENTER or RETURN


    1. Use [WINKEY]-R to open the Run command
    2. type perfmon.exe /run and press ENTER or RETURN



    How to suspend the process:
    1. Click the Memory tab
    2. Right-Click the process you wish to suspend
    3. Click the Suspend Process item
    4. Click Resume Process when you are finished
