Whats it me?

Sup, today at school I was experimenting with DDosing. Mainly DDosing the schools network.
I started the DDos'ing from home via Teamviewer and after 5min the electrics shut down at school (the entire building).
I got panic and tried to shut the DDosing program off via teamviewer, and I managed to close the program.
So after about 5min the power comes online again.

So I wonder, did I cause this?

How likely is it that the power shuts down after about 5min I started DDosing? And the same when I stopped with the DDosing?

Why would DDOS cause a power outage would be my question.

I was basicly saying a DDOS cant cause a power outage, it is meant to crash networks, not power lines.

Maybe if the power is controlled by the computer sending a signal to the power switch every so often? I really doubt it though.

Have you don't this more than once and it done the same thing again? as they have a security measure in place to try and prevent something like this but that would be rather stupid. My guess is it was a one off thing unless you overloaded the computer which short circuited the power socket this causing a power cut.
