[Compilation] Iphone guides (jailbreak, cracked apps etc.)

Hello!
I decided to make a compilation of iPhone guides, because I really couldn't find any useful here :P

Let's start with Jailbreaking.

Step 1. Update your iTunes to the latest available. Restart your computer after installation.
Step 2. Download Blackra1n. It's the windows (or mac if you use it) icon at bottom of the page.
Step 3. Plug your iPhone to your computer using the USB wire.
Step 4. Click "make it ra1n"
Step 5. Wait for your iPhone to go to Recovery mode. Then it will run blackra1n on your iPhone, and restart it.
Step 6. Once iPhone reboots, click on blackra1n icon on your springboard. You have to have internet connection for this step.
Step 7. You can now choose what app installers you want. Cydia/Rock/Icy
Step 8. Once it has installed the app installer you chose, go back to Blackra1n app and press Uninstall Blackra1n. Also, reboot.

Now we have jailbroken iPhone and installed Cydia/Rock/Icy on it. Now let's get to installing some useful stuff .

I only do this on Cydia, so I hope you have installed it.

There are two different ways of installing cracked apps on iPhone.

Way 1.
Step 1. Start Cydia. Go to Manage-->Sources-->Edit(Top right corner)-->Add(Top left corner)
Step 2. Add http://cydia.hackulo.us
Step 3. Press Ok.
Step 4. Go to Search, and search for AppSync.
Step 5. Install it, then reboot your iPhone.
Step 6. Install a free app from App store! IMPORTANT!
Step 7. Now you can install cracked IPA's from your computer. Just download IPA file from site (appulo.us for example) and double-click it on your desktop. Make sure iPhone is connected. Then just sync your iPhone.


Way 2.
Step 1. Repeat steps 1,2 and 3 from Way 1.
Step 2. Search for Installous, and install it.
Step 3. Reboot iPhone, open up Installous.
Step 4. Now you can search or just browse for any apps.
(At the moment there's a troll gate on appulo.us, so you can't enter unless you know answer for question. So pretty much useless guide atm if you aren't into the scene :P)
I'm not quite sure how the apps are installed from installous, never used it.

My iphone is on a plan(contract), is this illegal or can my provers find out about me cracking it? what will they do?

If it gets broken, you don't have warranty. There's nothing else they can do. And if it's not so broken that you can restore it, you can restore it and they cant see that you have jailbroken it.

beware that some of the newer iphones/itouches have to be pluged in to the computer when you reboot it...
if you let your phone die or turn off - when it comes back on it will be in recovery mode
