How to run programs as vista user

Are you sitting and wondering. Why can't I run this program?
I've readed everywhere and it says I only have to run it as an administrator.
But still isn't working?
Well here is the solution!
Step by Step and with pictures.



Start with rightclicking the icon.
press properties>compatability.






Check the box run this program in compatability mode for:
Choose Windows vista (service pack 1) for 32 users
Choose Windows vista ( service pack 2) for 64 users.
down at privilege check the box.






Voiala you can run it as vista user.:wave:

You never know if it's 100 % safe.
and NO if you can run windows vista that doesnt mean you can run windows 7.
I got a computer with windows vista. and another with windows 7.
Tried to install windows 7 on my comp with windows vista and everything worked as a man that hasnt been sleeping for years. took me 10 min to open My browser.

Windows 7 requires like less or the saem as XP and as said if you can run vista you can easily run 7. And yeah just download it.

Windows 7 is amazing compared to vista so if your still using vista then its time to upgrade.

HOWEVER

this guide does also work for windows 7 in the compatibility mode stuff, even tho you can get XP mode in windows 7

Yes it does all pc thats run vista can run windows 7

True but please remember ofcourse if your comp can run windows vista it can run windows 7 but your comp will go 100 % slower. tried it myself.

Right click + 'Run as administrator'

Absolute bullshit.

If you really need to do that to get a program running, I can tell you that there are problems with your hardware and/or software configuration, not problems with Windows Vista itself.

wait a sec. isnt it supposed to let it run in xp mode instead of vista pack 1/2 ? furthermore i think everyone knows how to do this (not just run as administrator) + it doesnt work for all programs e.g. the godfather. when you try to play it you first have to delete some videos in the installation folder.
