Completely retarded. Yes I'm sure it can be "addictive" in a habit forming way like the things you mentioned(but to a lesser extent), but they can't be a physical/true addiction. People have been trying to say shit like this for a while now to make people think video games are bad and terrible things.

Yes, video games can be addicting in a similar way that other habits are "addicting", but it's not even remotely close to addicting in the way that cocaine is. It's not even addicting in the same way the sex/masturbation are, because those are often actual addictions to the chemicals released in these acts.

Really, the only part of the article that holds a fabric of truth is comparing it to cannabis "addiction", because cannabis has no addictive substances, but many people use it habitually.

All the things mentioned in this post are good for you. Except cocaine.

These addictive behaviors are ahead of anything: eating, drinking, sleeping, hygiene, sex, social relationships, and not because the addict enjoys the activity, but because he/she has to do it.
