I was on the mmowned forums the other day, and when asked what religion I was, I told them. They then proceded to laugh at me. Mods and members alike.

So my Religion isn't very well known. I worship three deitys... Does that make me a bad person? It shoudn't because I am a person too. I have the right to worship my own religion. Anybody who thinks otherwise is clearly an idiot.

I just made this thread to let people know that not everyone is Christian or Atheist, and people of other religions exist in the world. Okay, we may have "strange" culture when it comes to music, song and dance, but it should be respected by other people! If we were in each others shoes, would you want me to say "Christian? WTF SORT OF RELIGION IS THAT! LOL!" (That was one of the replies I received, although I have added some spelling, grammar and punctuation to make it vaguely resemble what I think it was supposed to say. And changed the religion to what the replier's was.) I can't believe that MMowned seems to condone this sort of thing. It should be dealt with by staff, not joined in with and jeered on by them. I understand some people of MMowned are sympathetic to my plight and wish for me to be happy, but I need some advice. I am proud of my religion. And I wish to keep it that way.

You are free to believe/worship in who(m)/what ever you choose to. If people on a forum are getting under your skin this much, you probably should read up on what happens on most public forums. (Not saying I condone it)

Personally, I'm an atheist. I have no problem with religion at all, only organized religion (though, that's a discussion for another day...)

I do apologize that staff members were in on the flaming, I suggest you either PM a different staff member about it, or talk to an admin.

ok, first thing. LEAVE YOUR RELIGION AND FEELINGS at the door. mmowned is drama free, now if you choose to worship whoever, then do it. but if you proceed to tell people what you belive in of course there will be a few people to make fun of you for it, thats how life goes. no lose the huggies diapers and grow up, mmowned isnt the place for you to hold your relgious arguements. i dont mean any of this to come off as mean, im just saying.
you let people get to you because you told them ur religion, if they dont care to see the same perspective of the religion as you do, then dont get upset about it, let them laugh because it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks but yourself as a person.

A religion is a belief, a belief that you think is undoubtedly right. If you get offended by others you obviously can't have much faith in it if you know the people laughing at you are wrong in your eyes.
