CE hacking - Where should I go from here?

Ive been doing basic basic basic hacking where I can find pointers and such - but thats all I can do. Ive gotten pretty decent at it, and I think its time to further my experiance and move on to something a little more useful and complex. What would be the next step to take in order to improve my skills? Auto assemblers? (cant seem to find a noob-friendly tutorial on these, not sure if theres something I should be learning before this)

I would post on the cheat engine forums, but they have yet to activate my account, apparently it has to get admin approval before the account is created

Cheat Engine is not that great, because it's only client-side, do as I have done, drop CE and go for WPE
