    Playing games on Linux

Okay, so im building a new computer and I want to install Linux Kubuntu on it.
First off, is there any specific reasons why I shouldnt get kubuntu?
And mainly, with Linux I want to know if I can play my games.
I mainly need to play WoW.
Otherwise though, I'd like to be able to know if I can use Steam, Counter Strike: Source, Garry's Mod, Warcraft III.
Any help would be appreciated. THank you!

Is there any specific reason you'd prefer linux on your gaming machine? In all honesty, it's probably just easier to use windows vista.

Cedega will run WoW great, you just need to set your config to use OpenGL instead. As far as other games, you can check this website for a list of compatible games and reports on how well they run in Cedega. From a quick glance at the page, it seems like all the games you mentioned are certified to run under Cedega(With the exception of Garry's Mod, but that should obviously work if CS:S does.)

You could also use regular Wine, but you have to tweak a fair amount of settings to get it running good. Cedega is basically Wine with pre-loaded configurations for different games. It's a paid program, but I'm sure you're resourceful enough to find it somewhere for free(it's not hard to find.)

Okay, I know that Windows will run better for gaming. But I really just need wow, the other would be preferable though. I am very interested in programming and to be honest, WINDOWS SUCKS. So, yeah.

Those seem like terrible reasons. If you could be a little more objective as to WHY "windows sucks", when it would seem that it does what you want it to better than the alternative.

There are programming compilers you can get for windows as well. Otherwise, get wine and suffer some poor performance in wow.
