It had came to my attention that referral links were only not allowed in signature and avatar content. As you can clearly see on the site rules FAQ, it is listed under "Signature and Avatar Content". If it is meant to be for ALL content then it should be noted as such, therefor, I feel that I am being wrongfully punished.

The no referral rule is also nowhere to be found on the actual rules page.

the rules of mmowned are scattered all over the place in various threads; not too tidy.
but that's because 99,9% of them are common sense and nobody with half a brain needs to actually go through them.
the "do not post referral links" rule obviously is intended to keep people from posting stuff just to get $ or whatever, but since you contributed before, donated and this is a quality post, i see why you thought you could post that link.

I have to agree that the rules are a bit unclear on certain subjects but it is a general rule on the site that you may not have known. However, I have reverted the infraction as it seemed a bit too harsh when the rules are a bit vague on the topic. Furthermore though, I ask you not to re-edit a link that any staff member has changed. It was edited for a reason.
