While having little problem of my own i ran into a little discovery. Me and my family always go to my relatives on Christmas Eve due to the fact because it's just how our tradition run. Anyways, each year i always complained about how I don't get the chance to take my computer with me because we go there for weeks on. And well Finally I found a solution to my problem.

About the usage:
Both parties have to install the software. The application provides for this an invitation e-mail which can be sent to the other person with the download link for the tool. After the successful installation both have to start the tool and the person who sits in front of the computer which is going to be remotely controlled tells the other person the ID and the password. The person who is going to access the desktop of the other computer enters the provided data and a secure connection is established. After that you can work with the other computer as if you were sitting in front of it.
Another possibility is to install the tool as a windows service and use a predefined password which basically "eliminates" the need of someone sitting in front of the remote computer. For the ID I noticed during my tests that it is always the same for a computer so this is no problem.
TeamViewer provides additionally a chat which unfortunately has a small bug. Every time when you are typing and the other person sends you a message the cursor of the chat is set to the first position and if you don't see it you write there. This is not very handy and this bug is already known to the TeamViewer crew and will be fixed soon. Additionally it provides a tool to send files and folders but I did not try it out.

Sutiation that it could be used in.
- Lets say you are going to school where they block all the all your favorite websites like myspace or facebook ect. Well you can simply use this tool to get access to your computer and from your computer you can go to your favorite websites.
-Going somewhere far far away where you can't take your computer with you, well simply use this program to gain access to your computer, Lets face it, no one has the same set-up as your computer

Nice program and all, but for a remote administration http://www.logmein.com is probably a better solution. This is really a "team viewer" It's meant for someone else to control it. Also, "[Release]" implies it's an official public release of your own work.

Oh Sorry I meant Like Release to the Public.
This program is much better then any other i have used. It's Free and Does not slow down your computer. Works great.
I know what you mean, but it can be used for many different things.

i used this program before to controll my Media comp Behind me, but then i found Real VNC wich imo works beter, also free

I used VNC and I found this to be better.
Team Viewer Runs faster for me and very easy to get started.

VNC was already introduced to MMOWNED website, I thought to introduce this program as well I thought it was not yet posted here.
