    Help Please - computer build

So my current computer is a good 6years old !

I am looking to buy/make a new one.
I was just about to order a PC i liked but the company shoved the price up by £120, money i dont have.

However i rekon that i could build the computer for ALOT less !

I would like some quotes from you guys of how much this PRO COMPUTER would cost Computer Supplies and PC Components from Novatech

if i brought each part from here dabs.com - Laptops, Components, MP3 players, Software, Digital Cameras

any help would be very appreciated, you can just post what cost you got if you want, or go into more detail....THANKS again

    You need these following probably:
    -Motherboard
    -CPU
    -RAM
    -Hard Drive
    -Video Card
    -Case
    -Power Supply

Motherboard: Asus makes good motherboards, so pick one from there with a PCI-e 2.0 slot.

CPU: It doesn't matter too much whether you get an AMD or Intel processor, just get one around a good speed, probably a minimum of 5.0GHz total from all of its cores.

RAM: For RAM get at least 3 gigs of DDR2 or DDR3 RAM, depending on what the motherboard uses. This one is good: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145184
Hard Drive: This is pretty much up to you, but the bigger, the better

Video Card: Go with either ATI or nVidia for this, the 4850 with ATI, or the 9800 GTX/GTX+ for nVidia

Case: Make sure your Motherboard will fit, you probably in the long run will want a larger one.

Power supply: Make sure you have enough output for all of your components. I have this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182030

Better get 2 or 4 GB of RAM, because you won't get full power out of a 3GB RAM, as the whole computer system is binary and so the operating cycle won't work correctly with 3GB Ram.

I could give you some tips, if you tell me what you want to do with this system. Only playing WoW, or maybe newer games later?

The novatech pc uses a nvidia graphics card, and I had many problems with my nvidia card when I played Warhammer. A friend of mine had a ATI, and it worked perfectly for him. It's also an well known problem that nvidia cards aren't good for playing Warhammer.

Also, dont get a realtek soundcard. It's also producing alot of problems while playing Warhammer.
