    Scam or Virus

My dad sent me an email last night saying that he got robbed and he needs me to send him some money. Knowing my dad, he would never send me an email. He will bug me on my phone and will make 1 million calls and a few texts before he will think of using his email. He only uses his email to make online orders. Anyway, I asked him to change his PW for his email. Apparently, he also sent the same email to a couple of people we know. Did he get hacked by a scam-mer or was it just a virus similar to that FB virus that hit last year? :gusta::gusta::gusta:

It could probably be both but i'm thinking it's more of a virus that is so common nowadays.

I keep thinking about getting additional internet security for my parent's house. Have you hear of netskope? Do they also do network or email security? or should I be getting protection from identity theft instead? I'm not sure.

All I know is that company offers solution with regards to cloud security issues. However, in just doing the basic things to secure your account would help a lot. Make certain that your settings are set to private and also make sure that your computer is free of malware and does not store login records. Very important thing is to log out whenever you leave your computer which is not just by merely closing your browser. Log out properly. These are the basic things you can do to protect yourself from hackers or those people who has nothing GOOD to do.
