    Need Computer info/help

    Hello,i have bought a nvidia geforce 9600 video card and it required 2 plugs for the power supply.i only had 1 available so i took 1 from my dvd/cd drive and made it work.now tho i need to get my drive working. there is a little plug that is from power supply but it doesnt have the same connection so i need a transmuter.so im wondering if a such a thing exists or if there are other ways of getting a connector like that. i posted the vid of a guy making his computer and there is the wire thats hanging with a white end plug thingy in 8:10 in the vid in middly of pc on bottom.
    Maybe some 1 can tell me what its called or something so i can go and buy 1.

    The white plug is called a MOLEX connector.

    I guess the plug you`re talking about, that your PSU doesnt have is the either 6pin or 8pin ( differs per card. Heavier card more likely to have 8.. )
    This is just a PCI-E connector.

    Molex in - Molex in - 6 pin PCI-E connector

    From what I understand you used the little cable you received with the graphics card, that changes the molex cable into the 6 ( or pin black connector ?
    I`d suggest looking for a "molex" splitter like this : ( You can see exactly what molex is aswell now.. )

    Or , if your power supply gives you the wrong PCI-E connector you can get this ;
    6 pin to 8 pin

    Would be usefull if you can tell me if you have such a black connector and all and if you do which one, 6 or 8 pin

    (SORRY Mmowned doesnt allow me to post images in this post yet... Control C and control V the image links, I have tested them and they all with without the http:\\www ;-) )

    i had the first 1,but the prob is that i need to connect a cd drive so i disconnected the plug and connected the 2 power cords into Molex in - Molex in - 6 pin PCI-E connector.the pc has another cord to power up a media drive,it has a diferent plug,its small and black.i need a transmutter from that black plug to the white 1 like in the first image to connect to the drive. thx for the name of it tho,i will +Rep you when i will be able to
