    [Guide] How to Delete Posts

    How to Delete Posts

I know allot of people on these boards are mentally challenged. (mostly the people who can't get out of leecher status for 6+ months)
Please help the noobs and link this thread when they whine "I can't delete my thread! MOD HELP PLS!"

So I decided to put together a Step by Step guide for you guys!

NOTE: For best results, Follow the steps in order.

    Step 1:
Select the "Edit" button on your post as if you were going to edit your post!

    Step 2:
    Select "Go Advanced!"

    Step 3:
Make sure the check box marked by the "3" on the image below is checked!

    Step 4:
Press the button labeled "Delete this Message," Marked by a "4" below!

    Congratulations!!
If you followed the steps in order, Your post will now be deleted!

NOTE: To the guy who said you can't delete your post if someone posted it in already, I just deleted and remade this thread to verify.

    Wait a minute....
you've deleted the last thread again, after I posted in it?

EDIT: Oh, now I remember. As an active user you CAN delete your threads also when somebody posted in it. As contrib, you can't anymore.

When unable to delete your own thread, you can always just contact a Staff member through PMs.

(Though don't leave a message in their profile through the Visitor Messages, use PMs.)
I used to be a Super Mod. Now I'm just Super, thanks for asking.

Is contrib bugged or something? Regardless, by the time you hit contrib you shouldn't be posting things that need to be deleted anyway lol.

The whole "report the post" or "bother a mod" thing is nice but knowledge goes a long way. Always best if you can handle it yourself and give the mods a break.

I made it on my spare time anyway, so even if only one person is elightend by this, I'm satisfied!

    Best Wishes,
    Christina
