I have internet problems.. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
On to the point, I was cleaning out my computer the other day using nod32 antivirus( I regret ever doing so). It just so happens to pick up my autoit bots/scripts/programs, I didn't really notice b/c I was half playing WOW. I wasn't really paying attention to it when it picked up so-called "viruses" and I just hit delete. All was good that day, I had a few watermelons and cherries, owned some nubs in PVP, and watched The Forbidden Kingdom.
The next day, I couldn't access my internet. I was thinking, hmmm ok maybe there's something wrong with my i.p. provider, maybe a tree fell and hit the phone lines or something. I come back from summer school and it still doesn't work. That's where I started getting annoyed because there was some homework left that I had to finish up. I began messing around on my computer and trying to figure out if it was me and not my service provider.
1. I noticed that on my dsl modem the 3 lights flashed green, but the 4th one, the internet, never budged. Restarted a few times, no results.
2. I opened up CMD and checked out my ipconfig /all - nothing assigned.
3. Checked my network connection properties. I had that annoying message where it says, "Network error crap has occurred, maybe your ip provider crap didn't provide you with one or something"
4. I couldn't access my mode configuration http://192.168.0.1
5. Did a backup system restore- didn't help either.
I checked my logs with NOD32 and found out my autoit or some program was quarantined along with svchost.exe. I'm thinking that might've been the problem, my computer refuses to connect to the internet period.
