New computer

I was thinking about building/buying a new computer and I need suggestions for good hardware to get it. I have about 1000$ to spend. Plz post with good stuff for me =D and 1 day i cna get more than 10 fps in Iron Forge.

WOW. I use a Dell LAPTOP (not xps) and get higher fps than that.

all i can suggest is a lot of ram and a big graphics card

lol the question is laptop or desktop and the ram isnt a prob i will get like 1 or 2 gigs but the video card i will prob have a trouble finding out what 1 to get cause i dont really know about the types except the bigger the number the betteR(but not the price )

Well if u wanna get hire frame rate its really based off ur video card do to the fact of rendering the area my fram rate in IF is useally aorund 20 to 30 fps here is My sytem Specs

RAM: 1.25GB of PC3200RAM

I've got a Dell Dimension 3000, the main drawback is the graphics card, 96 MB onboard *shudders* and there's no AGP slots so if I want to buy a card i have to use PCI (not PCI-E, just PCI). :|

get a nice case but find one cheap

Get a Intel proccessor there cheap and fast
dealram.com has the best prices on ram!
Screen will be pricey but it doesent matter. if your into gaming get a 20+ inch screen
Newegg.com (good stuff)
Buy.com (great prices but they dont have everything)

not sure i have never actually built one but i did alot of research on it cause for a long time i wantexd windows.. then i got a intel iMac with both mac and windows booted

I have some money saved up actually.... Anybody have good/bad reviews from Alienware? i dont really want to build my own computer...

I'm actually going to build a new comp..
I was gonna simply do an upgrade but.. I have an old ATX system and now everythings all PCI-Express.. so I'm just gonna take the leap and get a new motherboard, processor and videocard as well as new ram and a MASSIVE power supply.

Well i am going to be building 2 more computers im going for one thats going to be a 100% gaming and one thats for a lil of both lol i might make a extra one and and all u can probly know i could see if i can contest it off but thats only if i can get the lil extra money wich isnt hard but we will see
