Design Brief & Specification
The purpose of the project was to design a dining table that is innovative and has appealing aesthetics.
The product needed to provide the basic function of a table for 4 persons and double as a storage with 3 compartments. Chairs were excluded from the design.
Exploration of Ideas
One possibility would be a rectangular shaped table supported by a rectangular cupboard below. Alternatively, it could be a round table with star-shaped cupboard. A third option considered, was a bean-shaped table.

first of all you should have idea of place where table has to adjusted then shape will be discussed if you have enough space then every shape of table can be placed , if you have limited space then table shape will be adjusted to space . hope so you go my point

The definition of product design describes the process of imagining, creating, and iterating products that solve users' problems or address specific needs in a given market. The key to successful product design is understanding the end-user customer, the person for whom the product is being created.
