i think you just played a bit with the contrast etc.
so a 8/10 becuz of the simple technique and its a bit to bright

Wow, I like the second picture much more, but as Minimized already said, some quite important details which were eye-candy disappeared :|

Trying to make the little tattoo appear little more, its buried under all the layers its nearly impossible to bring back up unless I start all over lol. But yeah, I just noticed the left leg's tattoo nearly disappeared

It's not a simple "Contrast" technique btw. Contrast won't give you a nice detail like that. Try for yourself.

I tried to make it from 1 apparent light source, which is what shes casting, make it more "realistic"

A contrast change would probably look nicer. Or perhaps some sort of tone mapping.

If that is what you were going for, then I don't see how you were attempting it. Nothing in the minor changes you made indicate that you are trying(much less succeeding) to change the light source.

There are two visible light sources in the image, the sword and the spell, and while the lighting from them isn't perfect in the original, both of them are still visible in your version, essentially unchanged.

In fact, your version emphasizes the unseen light sources in the original, not the spell's light(which is green, and coming from dexter). It looks like you shined a spotlight at her thigh.
