[DISCUSSION] Aesthetics

Out of curiosity, I was wondering what this audience (ownedcore) would prefer.

Elegant and clean design, or frilly/alien-ish templates?

It might not be the best comparison, but I hope you get the general idea of what I'm trying to discuss.

I guess it's the same as comparing the aesthetics of a macbook pro with those of an alienware laptop. (their looks, not price or performance lest we get into that.)

this however is a firstlook for a website only though, because if i need to use a website daily i want alot of information(note: this information needs to be easy accesible so not wall-o-text like)

Everything depends on what type of website you are and what you stand for for me. Can't pick one or the other.

I think both look good, I think what it would really boil down to would be what the websites aim/point is. I like the simple and clean design of the left picture, however I personally would probably rather browse a website with template on the right (Space-ish) unless said website was meant to be for something professional, or perhaps a product; even then, depending on the product it could work.
