[Showoff] Project "Infected"

I got interested in photomanips so I decided to try to make one.
This one was made some time ago.. I think it was around 2006.

But I got pretty satisfied with the result, and considering it was my first photomanip I was very happy.


So basicly, I took a model, smoothed her skin a bit, and made the image black/white. After that I added bits and pieces from other pictures. For example, the "blood" above her eye, is actually a rust stain from a wall picture.

The eyes and the plugs were made in seperate documents before I added them. Made the cables after that, and it turned out ok.

You can see the original picture there also.
So anyways, here's the picture:

this surly gives a nice flow and love evrything about this but then with the pipes. the lower one should go behind her shoulder medium one shoulg almost touch her ear and keep going that way and the top one should also go a bit that way. The eye4s tough they are chocking good.

The eyes are to much extrude, it seems to be paste on her face x) ( a best scale with her eyes could be better). Those scotch you made aren't scale with the relief of the face... ( hard to explain for me >_<)
Tentacles are beautiful BUT they ever seems to be past one the picture... maybe a better work on shadows and contrast, make them more 3d and not 2d.
Instead of they are really cute !

Actually I made the eyes in this document so it's not a paste anyways..
Don't get the relief part..
The cables are not supposed to go past one the picture :O
And the cables is 3d? The thing that I don't like about the cables was that the curves wasn't really smooth.

Brush is used like.. a million times on the eye to get the goldshimmery/rust there. And there's millions of patterns applied from other pictures.

Think I used almost 500 layers to this pictures :O

i love all the effects, the wires and shiz. but there is a few things that i ruin the picture a bit.
first of all, the text. the text doesn't fit in at all. its green, its beveled and it has a slight shadow. the font looks like a sort of fancy shmancy style, which doesn't suit with the grungey look of the picture. if it was me, i would'nt have put any text at all. now that i've had a look at it on deviantart, i saw that you don't like the text lol.
the other thing is the picture in the frame on the right. i know it is to show what exactly you did on the stock/picture. but i think it just doesn't fit in. maybe just leave it in the little box underneath where you write about the picture.

just thought that might help a tad

Anyways, yea.. I hate the text, and I'm the suckiest ever at making text.. don't know why, but I just don't get it nice.

Ye, perhaps.. as I said, I made it like 2006, so it was a really long time ago xD If I made it now I would probably not make it this shabby.
