so people in other threads are going on and on about detection being in. Is their any truth to this? Or will you only be picked up if they actually manually look into your account logs/someone reports you?

Personally, I'm still teleporting around to level on alts. Obviously before I teleport I check the place is clear. And guess what; no ban. People getting banned are just being too obvious.

you know, Im torn on this whole thing. Its an interesting insight into human nature that something so mundane as a few anonymous folk online can scare someone so fundamentally. You have one camp saying "I only teleported a few times and I lost my account" and the other saying "as long as no one sees you your golden" while carbine is saying "they have algorithm's that check logs/cords and do this automatically"

Without further hard data, my mindset is such that Im not sure Id be ok with the risk. Now fwiw before all this hoopla I DID teleport. I wont say a ton, but I wont say very little either. On and off, some days more than others. Now being that im not a moron, I always made sure I was in the clear. If I wasn't I didn't do so, period. Some will say this is evidence for the latter, Some will say it was luck. Im undecided.

I wish we had evidence that it was in fact undetectable pre player report. That would seal the deal for me and I would press on.

As far as the player report thing goes, some people are overzealous and will report a lagging or hitching player (who is genuinely lagging) as teleporting or speed hacking. This makes me question the relevance and validity of the claims of "needing to be reported" as I wouldn't expect Carbine to just ban you after ONE report. Now if your doing it so much and so blatantly (like these *******s who sit at the spawn in battlegrounds) you deserve to be banned.

Without the teleporting and speed hacking, I have little desire to use the mod....which is a shame because in my eyes its the start of something potentially amazing. Without something to settle this drama - Im gonna have to refrain and watch for now.

(ps. getting that click to teleport in on the map is EPIC and cannot be overstated.. let me tell you! Its a shame the coder working on it seems to have put it down)

your seriously leveling alts already? phew. rebel :P

Still using it on my 50 spell slinger to farm tech and do instance speed runs, no bans on record, Starspot PVP to level and Nova for tp and speedhack for pvp wins and dungeon clears.

I feel like a lot of people that are being banned are from reports/tickets. I have an ESP/Radar hack i used with Nova aswell and if i know if people are in the area and when people can see me for me not to use it. I feel like people would just go around porting and speed hacking without checking the surrounding areas. But thats my take on it, my account is still perfectly fine.
