Although i noticed a post about this already, there was no set in stone guide to making a big profit.

The process is extremely simple and can be done by any character, both factions as long as you have fleet access and can enter a flashpoint.

1. Become infected with the virus.
There will be people huddled in the revive area of your fleet waiting to blow so just chill a few minutes and surely enough you will become infected with the virus.
This will cause a lightheaded state.

2. This debuff lasts for 10 minutes and leads to the "Feverish" state, this is what we want.
a few things you should know.

a, DO NOT enter any OPS/Flashpoints while you are lightheaded. It resets the soft timer to the Feverish state.
b. DO NOT DIE. Also resets the timer.
c. DO NOT log out normally, also resets the timer.

3. After ten minutes you should have entered the Feverish state. TIME TO BLOW UP!
Now you have two options. Either jump off the VIP cantina.
Or enter a flashpoint, wait about 15 seconds for the plague's appreance to show, and die to mobs (naked to prevent damage to armor)

4. There you have it. In about 10-15 minutes you have gained 5 Rakhgoul DNA Samples.
These are used for crystals, pets, and legacy items and sell for about 5-10k credits EACH.

Rinse and repeat as many times as you would like.

Results of about 4 Hours / Also spent leveling up professions and shopping for shiny stuff.


[ALTERNATIVE METHOD}
{Go to Tatooine, get plague there from Dune Sea, wait ten minutes or grind, get naked and die to mobs}

So in possibly 10 minutes you just made anywhere from 25 to 50k credits.

This Guide is really helpful for a noob like me.

I'm lucky right now, because there are like...50+ people on the Imperial Fleet infecting players all the time. I think I will do that for some time...I wait till I am infected and actually go up to the VIP Lounge and wait there, since those 50+ People give me a really bad performance (highest details in SWTOR + INI Tweaks and LOD Bias -3.0)

You don't need vip access just jump in the holes by the galactic trade network or anywhere on the outer ring in imperial fleet

Those holes don't actually cause a death though. They just respawn you.

Generally, if you have a bunch of people on the Fleet, who are spreading the infection as hell, it is wiser to get infected, wait up to 10 minutes to get into the Feverish state and jump off the VIP Lounge (or something high enough) instead of just waiting...as everyone in the imperial fleet did on my server. Gets you the Rakghoul DNA faster. Already sold some Rakghoul DNA for 70k. One buyer told me, he will contact me again today to buy more. Means, I might turn into a Rakghoul DNA Dealer XD
