Bots that run in the background?

I know maestro did, but they're toast at least for now... any others people have tried that work good?

I never got to try idroidbot cuz they have little to no community or customer support so I don't know about them... bit most oters seem to need to run front and center!

The problem with bots that run in the background is that it requires some type of injection method into the game itself. This makes the bot much more detectable because the game is being comtrolled at the code level and not the UI level.

this is why AutoIT has a big part in video game botting because it works based off of pixels and images on the screen and simulating mouse clicks and keystrokes.

if you take a few hours to understand how untz bot (or lucky) works, you can get close to 100% wins (last week i went from 10 to 40 with only 2 losses)

only problems you would still find is from level 40 to 44, where the problem is on swtor's client (or maybe server side too) so you might want to switch to hydian because drexel is screwed

I personally love untz, but its kinda hard to factor lag so I kinda have to lag myself to get a solid recording and do double duty on the mission goals... but untz is by far my most used bot right now... I'll check out buddy wing, thanks, I think that might be the ONLY bot I haven't used yet lol

So does buddy wing really do all that automated leveling and whatnots? Cuz I'll buy it in a heartbeat if it does lol... I know most sites that promise that kind if stuff are dependant on player shared scripts that are a pain to set up and don't work QUITE right....

Shagg, I think that all classes are supported from 1-10 leveling and that the consular/agent are 10-50. The other classes will quest from 10-50 just not use their specific class quests at this time. So you kind of have to babysit the bot, but it will indeed level. There is work being done on a space mission bot as well that is included with BuddyWing. The only gripe I have with it is the lack of grinding profiles for farming mats and things like that. There is a plugin to help you make them yourself, but, I happen to be lazy as shit and don't want to fool with it. I personally have been using the 24 hour trials on occasion just to see what has been updated. It's definitely far from finished but the bot has a bunch of potential.

The only one I know which runs in the background is MMOViper. It does use injection, but it's also not a space mission bot.

I dunno what mmoviper you're using, but when I click off the sw client with one I have it says window lost focus...if you know something I don't, please share :-)

And mmoviper can't run in a VM? Lamezor!
