Client for this week end

Since today we can download the client for the week end beta test.
When the download is completed you can only exit the launcher.
I saw in the log files :

INFO Patch completed normally
INFO Patching end
INFO Patch-Only state reached. User must exit.

Is there a way to bypass the Patch-Only state and try to log in and play ?

I doubt this is possible even when you find a way to bypass that state. Last weekend you couldn't play but the launcher worked even after patching

How big the client is? I mean how many GBs you have to download for this weekend?
