. find a resettable award (says reset award at the bottom) that you completed/can complete fast. complete it if you haven't already
2. in free roam: reset the award. go back to see if you got the gold (you can reset multiple at once if you completed multiple)
3. disconnect network/close(/suspend) application-->2 error messages, skip them
4. get back into free roam
5. repeat step 2-4

Been resetting 10 at a time getting 2 gold bars every couple mins.

Yeah, this is a really cool topic.
By the way, I recently read one article (I will attach the source below), I never thought that New York and San Francisco are real cities in the RDR. It was then that I realized why the map of the world is so large. Otherwise, it would be simply impossible to cram everything.
