I was farming at act one brutus on my ranger as i killed him my game lag and then he blew up twice the same drops dropped


so i think if you lag spike your self when your killing a boss at the end you'll kill it twice and get the same loot twice :P

btw i have tested this a few times same thing happens have fun

sorry been a few days of crap to do in rl well what happens is that i have wifi and when i move or cover up my wifi witch makes you lag in games but right at that time when you are about to kill the boss do it or w.e mob i tried to day and got two of the same drops same drops again

This is probably caused by server side lag, not client side lag.

Tbh this seems a bit hard to believe ... Then again, in one of my numerous dom runs, I got a triple unique twilight blade drop, I'm not sure what the chances are to get 3x the same unqiue but it would not be outrageous to think something went wrong with the drop generation.

Anyway it seems strange that this would be so easy to replicate, it would make cowards trial (garanteed unqiue) a bit mroe interesting, if you manage to single out the boss.

True, however that is for lagging your own connection, that quite simply shouldn't be able to make a boss die twice, and have the drops appear twice, that sounds like SERVER sided lag to me, so the only way I can see this working is if you obtain the IP address of the server you're currently on, then perform a small DDoS, not too big or you'll crash the server, but obviously enough to give it a high spike in lag.
