It depends on how much code they change in the new league. Sometimes it still works, sometimes it needs an update.

Has anyone noticed that you can't zoom out as far as originally before exmap, if exmap is off? I thought it was just me not being used to the original zoom level, but I've compared with other screenshots of the normal zoom level and I definitely can't back out as much.

After today's game update, running exmap freezes and crashes the game instantly. It gives you the following error box: ExmapErrorBox.png

"Sorry an error occured. Please provide the following information when asking for help:

The CE version works fine, however the disable fog feature has stopped working. I recommend everyone download CE version and deal with the fog until it gets updated.

I took a quick look and unless I missed something it looks like there were non-trivial changes to the fog rendering. I expect more changes are coming as they progress through this beta of the Vulkan renderer. That means that subsequent game updates are likely to break it again if I fix it.

I'm just going to be real with you guys - I'm pretty burnt out of working on stuff for Path of Exile. While not all of it has been publicly released, I've been working on various projects for this game for the better part of 8 years now. I'd hoped that making this a public tool would revitalize my interest in the game but it hasn't done that as much as I wanted. I understand this isn't what people want to hear, but I want to take a step back from working on these projects. I've attached the CT file to this post and I'm sure there will be someone here who will be able to update it. I'll probably turn the anti-detection parts of exmap into a blog post at some point. I'll still be around and I'll jump in to help people out when I can, but I've just got too much on my plate at the moment to worry about keeping up with this game anymore.

I appreciate your understanding and thank you for supporting my little experiments over the years.

The fog script definitely not working, even with a reinstall. Totally understand, thanks for the tool, it's awesome.

thank you for your work. everything wroks except fogrender, it will do excellent for now until someone picks up the work. I appreciate everything you've done, I really just needed the zoom cause man its hard to play so close I don't understand why this would be their camera angle. THANK YOU!!! hope you find something fun to get into!

Hey maper,

Want to take the opportunity to say thanks for all the effort you've put into this and other projects for us all over the last number of years now. I'm not sure you realize just how much programs like this improve the quality of life for those of us who use it. As someone who works a heavy amount of hours every week, programs like exmap shave a noticeable amount of time and frustration off playing many parts of the game that 3xG feels like needs to be shit just for the sake of it.
